Sustainability

The Edit / The Studio

Look good, feel good, do good. That’s what sustainability is all about – wearing clothes made with pride and remaining conscious of our choices.

We want our customers to be proud of wearing our products. Needless to say, it’s not only about how great they’ll look but also feeling good about the construction process of the clothes and the impact it has on the environment.

With that said, we’re moving Salient Label to an ethical and sustainable brand. In other words, consciously making affordable and ethically made clothes for our customers with quality fabrics that will bring less harm to the environment.

Repurposed
We gather our own cutting waste and excess material from past collections and recycle it to make new repurposed pieces. There is a lot more we can do but we're proud of what we're doing at the moment.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) approved / organic / renewable / bio-degradable eco-friendly fabrics

Our eco-friendly series are GOTS approved inks, dyeing and washing. GOTS ensure sustainable use and treatment of water used in these processes. In our fabric selection process, we'll take into consideration certified fabrics that are free from chlorine bleach, toxic heavy metals, formaldehyde and aromatic solvents.
