Sustainable Fabrics
The ethical organic fabric we use is made from Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) approved inks and dyes, which are free from toxic chemicals such as chlorine bleach, formaldehyde and aromatic solvents.
We did not start off as a brand that uses sustainable fabrics but we are here to change our brand value. As of 2020, certain pieces from our collections are made from organic, renewable, or biodegradable fibres. As a small indie clothing brand, all our fabrics are sourced instead of produced in-house, that's why we get to select the fabric companies to work with.
We use Lenzing® tencel, a renewable and biodegradable fibre made using wood pulp from sustainably managed forests. Lenzing® tencel is sourced from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) forests. It is a sustainably managed resource and produced within a closed loop process, contributing to the circular economy in the textile industry. The use of resources and energy is reduced to a minimum, at the same time achieving distinguished level of environmental protection and resource preservation.
Sustainable fashion doesn't have to come at exorbitant prices and it is our goal to work towards keeping prices affordable for designs crafted in tencel fabrics.
